The seasons are changing…and so are you! #sharingiscaring #sloopynoodledevotionbyValerieRouesseou
God is the
Creator of all things, and flowers are in some ways, a lot like people
Some are early bloomers like tulips and daffodils, but their lifespan is only for a brief time. Other flowers can withstand intense heat and times of drought, but they wither when the cold north winds blow.
Some are early bloomers like tulips and daffodils, but their lifespan is only for a brief time. Other flowers can withstand intense heat and times of drought, but they wither when the cold north winds blow.
Last, but not
least are late bloomers, which can endure extreme cold, wind, and rain.
Flowers bloom
where their planted, and don’t grumble when the storms of life come.
In the fall,
they wither and go into a season of dormancy.
They seem to
be dead; but in the spring, they will rise from the earth and begin a new growing
cycle.
So beloved
remember, we too must endure times when storms blow, seasons of drought,
cold,
dormancy, and heartache. We all are created differently, but each one is
beautiful, useful, gifted, talented… for a specific season of time to bloom,
and give a beautiful fragrance to the world.
We don’t need
to covet or feel jealous of other people’s beauty or talents, but simply ask
God to help us bloom and beautify our part of his garden, to give joy and hope
to others, for his glory.
Even the
beautiful last rose of summer, has thorns.…so those things that bug you…those
little imperfections you wish would go away, are the things that give you
character, and a beauty that no other person has.
You are
fearfully and wonderfully created in the image of your Heavenly Father, andhe
doesn’t make junk!
You are his
masterpiece and most prized possession! So, stand up beautiful children of God
and bloom baby bloom!
At birth we bloom just like a
flower
and soon experience life’s little showers.
Like wind and rain it starts to blow,
and as our beauty fades we know…
That we must die to self and sin,
so new life can form from within.
The pain and struggles will soon give way,
to a life that blooms in glorious array.
The inner beauty you now display,
will show the world a better way.
So follow the Savior’s example and reap,
the garden of peace and love you seek.
Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall
flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring
forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
To show that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there
is no unrighteousness in him. Psalm 92:13-15

beautiful and blessed day!
